The BTEX aromatics include\u00a0<strong>Component of fuels<\/strong>\u00a0(to increase the octane number) and are used as\u00a0<strong>Solvents and degreasing agents<\/strong>\u00a0is used. The single connection\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/lga-geo.de\/en\/schadstoff\/benzol\/\">Benzene<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0is classified as carcinogenic. Due to its volatility and high mobility (similar to that of\u00a0<strong>LHKW<\/strong>), BTEX aromatics can spread easily in the soil and groundwater and accumulate in the soil air.
