It was and is frequently used in the following applications\u00a0<strong>in liquid form (pressure gauges, thermometers, pumps, rectifiers, switches, fluorescent tubes, energy-saving lamps, etc.)<\/strong>as\u00a0<strong>Colour pigment<\/strong>\u00a0(vermilion) or as\u00a0<strong>Wood preservative<\/strong>.
