Orienting building substance and contaminated site investigations, remediation investigations (soil and groundwater) in the run-up to the redevelopment of the Augustinerhof site in Nuremberg, construction supervision of the demolition and excavation work and the remediation of soil and groundwater pollutants during and after the construction phase, expert supervision of the construction water retention.

  • Recording and investigation of pollutants in 11 buildings, preparation of a demolition plan with demolition concept, construction supervision during the demolition phases, declaration tests on the demolition material
  • Historical research, exploratory investigations of contaminated sites with 10 exploratory boreholes (6 of which were developed into measuring points for groundwater investigations)
  • Remediation investigations prior to new construction with 13 exploratory boreholes (8 to 15 m deep, upgraded to groundwater measuring points), 9 boreholes for pre-declaration of the excavated material (8 to 11 m deep) and 3 boreholes for subsoil and contaminated site investigations (35 to 45 m deep); remediation planning (soil and groundwater) including official coordination and approvals
  • Expert support for archaeological excavations, bored pile installation, excavation of building pits and new construction (monitoring of dewatering and groundwater, excavation support for damaged areas, preservation of evidence, declaration investigations)
  • Expert support for groundwater remediation (hydraulic measures; BTEX, MKW), groundwater monitoring
