When you say contaminated site, you don't always mean contaminated site

By no means all soil contamination is a contaminated site. But every soil contamination can become a legal and financial burden for the affected area and its owner. Our expert and experienced geoscientists, chemical and civil engineers examine and assess whether harmful soil changes are present in the soil and whether actions or cases of damage can cause or have caused such changes. Based on decades of experience, we work as a team to develop customised solutions and estimate the cost of implementation.

Committed to action - ownership too

The remediation of contaminated sites or harmful soil changes is a legal obligation. Owners of a contaminated site may be subject to remediation obligations in the same way as the perpetrators of a harmful soil change. A responsible and objective assessment by an expert is decisive for the scope of the measures for the remediation of contaminated sites or the removal of harmful soil changes.

Remediation restores the value of properties. However, apart from legally justified remediation claims, even a suspicion of contaminated sites can lead to a mercantile reduction in value because the financial consequences are priced in at a high level of uncertainty.
