Fires always release harmful substances. Fire soot usually contains PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons). Dioxins and furans can also be released, especially in fires involving plastics, wood preservatives and electrical components and appliances.

Risks to the soil and groundwater arise from seeping extinguishing water and rainwater. Concrete is attacked by chlorides. The effects of heat can damage steel and reinforced concrete structures.

Determine damage - repair damage

The tasks involved in fire damage restoration are diverse, so a multidisciplinary team is required. It's good when all specialist disciplines are united in one company.

We cover all environmental aspects (building fabric, soil, groundwater, disposal). Our colleagues in the LGA Bautechnik are responsible for material issues (concrete, steel) and the LGA Prüfstatik takes care of the assessment of stability.

Your advantage

We work on the basis of VdS 2357 "Guidelines for fire damage restoration". Occupational safety is planned in accordance with DGUV-R 101-004 "Contaminated areas". All our project managers are qualified in accordance with TRGS 524.

The GVSS (German Pollutant Remediation Association) has certified our company as a "remediation expert/specialist planner" for the remediation of buildings and facilities contaminated with pollutants.
