New Expert for Protective Structures Against Alpine Natural Hazards

The Engineering Geology Department is pleased to welcome additional support for structural inspections: Since mid-September, Simon Landgraf has joined the team as the third member and certified expert for protective structures against alpine natural hazards. Based on the submitted documentation and a professional interview, the registration committee of the Bavarian Chamber of Civil Engineers (Bayerische Ingenieurekammer-Bau) decided in its meeting on September 12, 2025, to include Mr. Landgraf in the official service list.

In addition to proof of expertise through a university degree, professional experience demonstrated by project references, and further education, Mr. Landgraf also submitted certification as a designated employee for vertical access and positioning techniques (“Height Worker Permit Level 2”).
