Description

Rock stabilisation work had to be carried out on the Flügelsberg in Meihern. The breeding den of a peregrine falcon is located in the area of a network on the rock, which is enclosed by the network. The bird of prey is protected by law and its nesting sites must also be preserved. A recess was therefore planned in the netting so that the nest remains accessible. An entrance was inserted into the recess. In order to check whether the entrance is accepted by the peregrine falcon, monitoring was initiated using a wildlife camera.
