For water investigations in the legally regulated area, such as the enforcement of the Water Resources Act or the Bavarian Water Act, testing laboratories require approval according to the Laboratory Ordinance (LaborV). As of March 22, 2023, the Bavarian State Office for the Environment has granted us approval for the sampling of groundwater and surface water (AQS 05/137/23). Excerpt from the Laboratory Ordinance (LaborV) of November 22, 2010:
§ 7 General Obligations
Testing laboratories are obligated to,
- to perform their tasks properly, impartially, and independently,
- to perform their tasks with their own personnel and suitable equipment; individual investigations can be transferred to testing laboratories with approval for the corresponding approval areas according to § 2,
- to treat all information related to the investigation orders confidentially,
- to apply the prescribed sampling and investigation procedures,
- to immediately and voluntarily notify the State Office of any significant changes in the approval requirements, particularly the decommissioning of the investigation site, as well as substantial changes in the scope of investigations and in operational or personnel equipment.
