According to § 18 BBodSchG, "Experts and investigation bodies that perform tasks under this law must possess the necessary expertise and reliability for these tasks, as well as the required technical equipment."
Specifically, in Bavaria, soil and contaminated site investigations in the legally regulated area must be conducted by investigation bodies approved under § 18 BBodSchG. Therefore, for the sampling and laboratory analysis of solid, water, and soil air samples, we have successfully renewed our approval from the Bavarian State Office for the Environment (LfU) through an application. Our institute is thus equipped with this. Certificate and the associated annex for the investigation areas 1.1, 2.1, and 3.1 (sampling and on-site investigations of solids, eluates and percolates, aqueous media, soil air/landfill gas) approved until January 2029.
